Sabine is a life long learner who eagerly shares the innovative riding techniques and exercises she is taught by her two German based coaches in each of her clinics. Sabine's two coaches come annaully, each working with her for a week at a time. She also takes full advantage of the opportunity to work with other trainers while she is competing in Florida and California.  

As a clinician, Sabine imparts her foundation of classical German riding method and years of training experience to insure each participant receives balanced feedback regarding what they are doing well and where they need to improve. Her instructional style acknowledges that each rider will apply the aids in different ways and has their own style of riding. Thus, the intent is not to change the rider's style, but to concentrate on the effective use of rider's aids. The constant in dressage is the fundamentals, and therefore corrections are made, when necessary, to insure proper technique.  

Sabine has worked with riders of all levels and horses of all breeds. Participants appreciate Sabine's flexibility and often choose to have Sabine ride their horse for evaluation purposes in lieu of their lesson or as a part of their lesson; providing the horse is safe under saddle.  

Another option is to have a lesson on how to lounge a horse correct. Lounging techniques could be covered for the young horse, the horse that needs correction or just for adding variety of exercises to the daily workout, depending on the situation. Specific instruction would be also provided on the effective use of longing equipment and the classical training aids, such as side reins or the chambon.  

Clinic Logistics:

• Two day clinic offered to dressage riders of any level with any breed of horse
• Each session is 45 minutes to 1 hour in length
• Participant fee is $100.00
• Minimum number of students is 8, the maximum is 9 , only on the first day
• Auditors are welcome. Auditors could be subject to a fee determined by the clinic host to off set the clinic expenses

Host Expenditures:

• Airfare for direct flights from LAX or Burbank airports
• Airport transportation to and from the clinic location
• Accommodations at an economy hotel or guest house
• Meals
