As experienced an equestrian entertainer as she is competitor, Sabine knows and enjoys every aspect of the creative progress that goes into building a crowd pleasing act.

Soon after arriving in the United States in 1998, Sabine, as head trainer at Proud Meadows Friesian farm, drew upon the fifteen years of European exhibition experience she acquired while promoting Friesians for Guenther Froehlich and began entertaining audiences across the United States. Sabine has been a featured entertainer at the National Horse Show in Madison Square Garden, Equitana USA, the Hampton Classic in Long Island, the Walnut Hill Driving Event, Night of the Horse in Del Mar, California, Equine Affair in Springfield, Mass and Columbus, Ohio, Dressage at Devon, Pennsylvania, the IAHA National Horse Show in Fort Worth, Texas and at the Fort Worth Stockyards.

The consummate professional, Sabine meticulously trains her exhibition horses for performances that feature the beauty of the partnership between horse and rider. Many performances have featured one or more of the following: a pas de deux, a quadrille, featuring four, or six and or even twelve horses, carriage driving presentations in a pas de deux or quadrille, side saddle performance, upper level dressage movements with tricks, such as Spanish Walk, sit, lay down, the bow, and rearing on command, riding in tandem (riding one horse and driving another in front from the saddle) and showing the traditional Garocha work from Spain.

Knowing that in the equine world, to expect the unexpected, each act is first developed and mastered at home and most have already been performed in front of large audiences. Having performed in a variety of settings, including outside of NBC Today Show’s famous Studio 1A, Sabine is skilled in dealing with unforeseen situations with out loosing composure and can improvise when necessary.

For each performance Sabine provides edited music on CD or tape that includes extra minutes for safety, a scripted introduction featuring a brief description of horse, rider and performance to be given. Professional photos from previous performances are also available for advertisement.

Selecting Sabine Schut-Kery for your equine entertainment venue, you are guaranteed to work with an expert who comes prepared to go on, is always on time and will leave the crowd asking for more.
